Marvels of Marwari Bridal Jewellery

Marwari wedding ornaments are the combination of kundan, meenakaari and thewa works. Kundan is the specially practiced jewellery style in Rajasthan, crafted with the settings of precious and semi precious gem stones in gold or silver with a lac base at the back of the ornament. Also in highlights is the meenakaari style of jewellery, with stoned precious and semi precious gem. Intricate designs with an amazing range of colours moulded in gold together with glass works never fail to capture one’s imagination. Thewa’s are not only popular in India but all over the world. Jewellery is still crafted in styles that have existed for centuries. The age old tradition of designing jewellery with the help of zari, beads and lac is still prevalent today. In a Marwari bridal trousseau, traditions live on, ceaselessly. Our featured Marwari bride is decked in gorgeous jewellery like Maang Tika adorning her forehead, Nathni, the exquisite nose ring, Meena Butti and Hath Phool for the mehendi flourished arms. The neck ornaments like Kanthla, Bikaner Ko Haar, and the royal Rani Haar. Bangles like Sone Ko Patalo, Kundan Ko Patalo, Kamar Bandh around her waist add to the stunning bridal trousseau and make the bride a sight to behold.
